In the second part of November 2007, Institute of Marine Biology, Far East Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences with support of the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN) will hold a joint workshop under the title BIODIVERSITY OF THE MARGINAL SEAS OF THE NORTHWESTERN PACIFIC OCEAN .

The venue of the workshop is the Institite of Oceanology CAS, Qingdao, P.R. China.
